Guess what? There is only a month left until the Payson Book Festival. TJ and Elizabeth are so excited to get out of town and out of the heat! You can come see them July 17 in Payson, at table 18. All their new books will be available.
Speaking of heat, if you can’t stand it, stay out of Phoenix. Holy Cow! It’s been 115 degrees for several days. Phoenicians are praying the monsoons begin soon. Even the humidity is better than baking. When they talk about a dry heat, they didn’t mean a pizza oven.
Regarding books, you can get all the Kindle Books here for $30.90. That’s eleven (11) stories. What a great deal! These books are the Mirror Gate Chronicles, the saga about Shaméd the Wizard, and all his adventures. The stories go into the history of the Planet Rednog, the Dragon King, Nogar, and the escapades of all Shaméd’s friends, as they cross space and time through the Mirror Gate.
Additionally, you can get Elizabeth’s books here. Memories of War begins with the story about the Underground Railroad, and loosely continues as a series through And Freedom to the Prisoners, and finishes with My Soul Awaits.
In the meantime, both TJ and Elizabeth are writing in other genres during this heat wave. TJ is working on a memoir about his difficult childhood and adult years and how he comes to realize he’s a storyteller. Elizabeth is working on a historical biography about her great-grandmother, who immigrated from Lebanon when she was only thirteen years old.
At the same time, both are editing other books, arm-wrestling with other stories, and sometimes only staring at their computers.
TJ and Elizabeth are real people with real lives. They’ve seen a friend taken by cancer this last year; wondered when and if they would ever get back out to the convention circuit, when they would see their extended families, again, and spent way too much time indoors due to the plague.
Now that things are opening up, again, they will be posting about new events coming up! Stay tuned.
TJ and Elizabeth appreciate all their readers. Please feel free to send this blog to your friends who read books. Thanks!
