Rainy Days and Saturdays, Here in the Park

The Payson Book Festival was incredible, successful, and amazing! We had so much fun! TJ and Elizabeth want to thank everyone who came to see us and who bought our books!

Since then, both authors are writing/editing up a storm. The weather in Phoenix has lent itself to the good moods and inspiration. TJ is writing on two or three stories, going from one to another as the mood strikes him, and Elizabeth continues re-editing prior stories to make them that much better!

The Phoenix area has been in drought for a couple years, but this last week, we got our full dose of rain, lightening and flooding! Rain is so necessary in the desert, and there were many wild fires, which God has seen fit to drop water on for us! It’s been great.

Their granddaughter, Simone is here for a few weeks. Her sister, Elektra and her cousin, Nasif have birthdays in a few, and there will be a party! The pool is clean and beautiful, there will be a splash/bounce house, and abundant finger foods, as well as cake! Everyone is excited for the event! TJ and Elizabeth are thrilled when they have all three grandkids together.

Right now, TJ and Elizabeth are looking forward to some events, but will announce them in their next blog. Please stand by, but not too close. We don’t want to spread the plague, so social distancing and hand washing is required. LOL

In the meantime, here are a couple puns for your entertainment:

  1.  Two antennae met on a roof, fell in love and got married. The ceremony wasn’t much, but the reception was excellent.
  2.  A jumper cable walks into a bar. The bartender says, “I’ll serve you, but don’t start anything.”
  3.  Two peanuts walk into a bar, and one was a salted.
  4.  A dyslexic man walked into a bra.
  5.  A man walks into a bar with a slab of asphalt under his arm, and says: “A beer please, and one for the road.”
  6.  Two cannibals are eating a clown. One says to the other: “Does this taste funny to you?”

Please feel free to forward this blog to your family and friends. We appreciate all your comments! Thanks for reading!
